How to Clean:
The more transparent rhodonite is, the more fragile it will be. The opaque rhodonite with black inclusions is fairly durable but still is a softer stone. It should be cared for and handled gently because it can easily lose its lustre if it becomes scratched. When dusty rinse under cool running water and wipe with a soft cloth to dry or allow to air. If very dirty you may wash with mild soap and water, being sure to rinse thoroughly. Do not expose this stone to sudden temperature changes and do not use ultrasonic, steam or other cleaning "machines." You should also remove this gemstone before exercise, sports, cleaning with any chemicals and showering. Store it in a clean soft cloth or fabric-lined jewelry box.

Cleanse and recharge your rhodonite by lighting a small pink candle next to it and allowing it to burn down until it extinguishes by itself.
