Keeping Your Jewelry Tarnish Free
Put a silica gel packet or some chalk in your jewelry box or in with your jewelry supplies to keep them
moisture free. Silica can be completely free in many products or boxes that have been shipped to you, so check through your packing materials for these handy little packets
It is a great time of year to get chalk at a really great discount-just after back to school and the end of summer. I personally like the jumbo sidewalk chalk. It lasts quite a while and can be used for projects and writing come spring.
Both will help prevent your jewelry or jewelry making supplies from tarnishing.
I specialize in unique and one of a kind custom made jewelry inspired by gardening, nature, Boho and fairy tale themes. I sell on Etsy, through my studio and my subscription box The Happy Dancing Dragonfly. The blog includes all kinds of info for self-care, crystal healing, jewelry care and anything I think will inform or amuse readers.

What great and simple ideas. And I just gave the sidewalk chalk to the niece and nephew. They will enjoy and it's cheap to resupply.
ReplyDeleteIt really is so inexpensive! I saw some at the store the other day for 10 cents a box! Win win! :)
