How to clean your gold and gold filled jewelry properly

Cleaning gold jewelry is fairly simple. Just remember to take into account if you have gemstones set into your jewelry because you cannot clean all of them in the same manner you would plain gold or gold-filled jewelry.

You will need:
Dish detergent
Soft bristle brush like a toothbrush
Warm Water

Add detergent to water and then place items to be cleaned into the mixture. Allow to soak for a few minutes to loosen grime. Take the brush and gently scrub in all nooks and crannies. Rinse well with more clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Done!

Again, please be sure to clean according to the instructions of what is safe for the gemstones that are set into any gold jewelry you are cleaning rather than these instructions which are for simple gold items or those with diamonds, sapphire and other hard stones.
